CIPRIANI Miami
Ikon Brickell, Miami
World renowned for it's cuisine and authentic Italian aesthetic, Cipriani is a world class restaurant and sets the highest bar for quality and elegance in any market.
The Cipriani Miami, located in the Ikon Condominium on Brickell Avenue is a three-story 12,000sf dining masterpiece and opened to rave reviews in early 2013. The restaurant features an elegant vaulted space as its main dining room that can be divided by way of a custom sliding wall panel clad in Italian oak paneling. The lower level opens up onto a dramatic waterfront dining terrace with a breathtaking view of the Miami River entrance. Elegantly detailed bars on both levels hint at the nautical theme throughout the space.
Some of the technical challenges of the space with the addition of a NY style turnstile entry door, a feature the owners insisted on despite the structural challenges. Another feature is the expansive operable glass walls on the lower level along with various structural challenges that needed to be overcome. Regardless of these challenges the final outcome is a seamless space that conceals all the technical challenges of a complex restaurant behind a beautiful interior.
Working closely with the international design firm of Michaele Bonan, the design was flawlessly executed.
